About College
On January 1, 2022, Malnava College was integrated into the Latvian University of Agriculture (LLU) as a science university. It became a part of LLU under the name "Latvian University of Agriculture Malnava College." On September 1, 2022, LLU was renamed to Latvian University of Biosciences and Technologies (LBTU). Consequently, by the end of 2022, Malnava College became the agency "Latvian University of Biosciences and Technologies Malnava College" under LBTU.
Both parties agreed on this integration to ensure continuity in agricultural and related sector education and promote socio-economic activities in rural areas. Moreover, for the college, this represents a significant step in rapid development and providing new opportunities for its students and graduates.
Malnava College offers short-cycle professional higher education programs, professional secondary education, vocational education, further education, informal education programs, and qualifications outside the formal education framework.
